Teachers for life!

So we had to write a response about if we thought technology would take over the role of teachers some day. I don't see this happening. Can technology give a child a band-aid if they scrape their knee? Can technology give a child a hug who just had to flush their fish down the toilet in the morning before they got on the bus? Can technology take students outside to catch snowflakes on paper to see what they look like during the first snow of the winter? No it can't do anything. So how in the world can they say it could take over a teacher's job? Would students really sit and watch a teacher teach on a screen? I know I wouldn't even now in college. I would hate every second of that. Technology is cool, but it can't replace a human!
